Fractional Operations + Finance Executive

Phil Wofford

Building the financial clarity, operating discipline, and leadership structure manufacturers need to scale profitably.

Phil Wofford

An operator’s discipline with a CFO’s view of value.

Phil Wofford is a fractional COO/CFO and business growth advisor who helps owner-led manufacturers, distributors, and related service businesses build the financial clarity, operating discipline, and leadership structure needed to scale profitably.

His background combines Georgia Tech engineering, an MBA, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training, and hands-on executive leadership. That blend gives Phil both the process mindset and financial judgment to move companies from reactive management toward predictable execution.

Phil’s direct manufacturing and distribution experience includes establishing U.S. operations for four international manufacturing companies. He has built operations, staffing, training, supply-chain infrastructure, ERP systems, and leadership teams. His work has also included turning around underperforming manufacturing operations, improving plant productivity, strengthening EBITDA-focused reporting, and increasing revenue through distribution and performance improvements.

Across senior COO, CFO, CIO, and CEO-level roles, Phil has helped launch and scale companies, raise private capital, support acquisition and exit activity, improve financial reporting, reduce operational bottlenecks, build KPI dashboards, and install management rhythms that create accountability.

Within Core Alliance Group, Phil helps leadership teams identify the true operating constraints, connect day-to-day execution to margin and cash flow, and focus the organization on the few priorities that matter most. The result is a stronger business with less owner dependency, better visibility, a more accountable team, and more durable enterprise value.

Profitable growth requires more than activity. It requires clear numbers, disciplined execution, and leaders aligned around the same priorities.
