Jeff Davis is a fractional technology executive with more than 30 years of experience spanning IT architecture, infrastructure, network engineering, project management, technical consulting, operations, and business ownership. He helps manufacturing leaders understand where systems are enabling performance, where they are creating friction or risk, and which investments deserve priority.
Jeff founded Southern Data Solutions in 2005 and led the managed technology company for 16 years. He was responsible for technical delivery, operations, sales, customer relationships, financial oversight, vendor partnerships, and team leadership. He successfully exited the company in 2020 and later founded Comnexiom to help organizations connect and control the technology across the spaces they manage.
In manufacturing environments, Jeff works across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, ERP-connected workflows, IoT sensors, plant and facility visibility, data, AI automation, continuity, and modernization planning. He translates technical conditions into business impact so leadership can make clear decisions about downtime, risk, labor efficiency, capacity, and growth.
Within Core Alliance Group, Jeff works alongside operations, finance, and supply-chain leadership to ensure technology supports the complete operating model. His role is not to sell technology for its own sake. It is to identify root causes, quantify the value of improvement, and build practical systems that strengthen the business.
