Resources / FAQ
Separate businesses. A coordinated approach.
Are the participating businesses one company?
No. Core Alliance Group brings independent businesses and professionals together to serve manufacturers. The participating entities remain separate businesses; working together through the alliance does not mean they have merged.
Why work together?
Manufacturing challenges cross departmental lines. A material shortage can affect production, cash flow, customer commitments, and system requirements. We bring the relevant disciplines together around shared priorities.
What expertise does the alliance bring?
Our focus spans technology, operations, finance, and supply chain. Meet our advisors to learn about their individual backgrounds and experience.
Do we need to engage every specialist?
No. We start with your business needs and involve the disciplines that can help. Some engagements focus on one priority; others benefit from a coordinated team.
What does fractional executive leadership mean?
It gives you experienced leadership for an agreed scope and level of involvement without hiring a full-time executive for each discipline. Time commitments and responsibilities are defined in the engagement.
Who would we contract with?
The proposal and service agreement identify the entity or entities providing services, their responsibilities, fees, and terms. Confirm those details before starting; do not assume one agreement covers every participating business.
Will we receive separate invoices?
Billing arrangements depend on the engagement and are set out in the proposal and agreements. We clarify the participating providers and billing responsibilities before work begins.
Who is accountable for the work?
The engagement establishes responsibilities, points of contact, deliverables, and decision ownership. When several specialists participate, we agree how coordination and progress reporting will work.
Do you replace our existing team or providers?
We can work alongside your leadership, employees, and existing providers. We clarify roles, close capability gaps, and help your team carry improvements forward.
What types of manufacturing challenges can you help address?
Common priorities include unreliable production information, delivery problems, inventory imbalance, supplier risk, margin leakage, cash-flow visibility, technology planning, and operational resilience.
Do you only provide recommendations?
Engagements can include assessment, planning, fractional leadership, and implementation support. The agreed scope determines the work and deliverables.
How do you measure progress?
We agree a baseline and practical measures tied to the problem, such as delivery performance, inventory, throughput, margin visibility, or recovery readiness. Targets and reporting depend on your data and scope.
How long does an engagement take and what does it cost?
Timing and fees depend on complexity, access to information, specialist involvement, and implementation needs. We define the scope and commercial terms before you commit.
Are results guaranteed?
No specific financial or operational outcome is guaranteed. Results depend on your starting point, available data, decisions, execution, and market conditions. Illustrative scenarios are labeled accordingly.
